Rocket Science to UX Design
My design journey began when I was looking for a creative outlet and took a design thinking course for fun while studying aerospace engineering at UIUC. I became obsessed with design thinking and had a strong gut feeling that this was what I truly wanted to do. I immersed myself in the field of user experience, seeking out HCI research with the professor, learning visual design in my free time, and leveraging my passion for engineering to compete in NASA design competitions. The rest is history. Owning my natural creative side was an inflection point that changed my life for the better.

I joyfully tackle complex problems and strive to create genuine connections with my teammates. Consistently, stakeholders and teammates highlight that I am a joy to work with and note my proclivity to inject energy and positivity no matter the situation.

I am a creative at heart. I find fulfillment in creating portraiture and spend free time drawing from life at the Chicago Palette & Chisel Art Academy, where I am a member.
I also LOVE cooking, working out, playing tennis, singing, playing guitar, and cuddling with my puppy Daisy!
